The occasion today is such that I couldn’t help but hijack this space to share my joy with everyone. Sachin Tendulkar has become the Test cricket’s greatest scorer surpassing Brian Lara’s world record. It’s not the statistics which matters much to me but this gives an opportunity to celebrate the genius of Sachin. To carry the hopes and dreams of a billion cricket crazy people for close to two decades is not a joke.

My cricket watching career almost coincided with that of debut of Sachin. Since then nothing has brought me more smiles and joy than the little master. Thank you Sachin for everything.
