Havells Fans : Newspaper, Answer Sheet

It’s always refreshing to see a new idea which uses very common situations to make the point. It’s summer times in India and Havells has released their new groovy commercials during IPL season.

Summer is tough in India and the luxury of air conditioning is not available everywhere. People tend to make use of any resources available at their hands to beat the heat. In these campaigns shown such scenarios like a teacher using the answer sheets or someone in a office using a newspaper to get some relief. Here comes the twist where the students and newspaper staff come with a humble request not to waste their sincere efforts as make-shift fans, instead use Havells fans.

This campaign works for me as there is a story, relevance with the product and a little weird but different execution with shock value.
