Carlsberg : 148 Bikers in a Theater

Carlsberg pulled out this nice little stunt with 148 bikers and some innocent couples in a theater in Belgium. It’s refreshing to see such new ideas which is pretty cost effective and having great potential to spread virally.

This campaign reminds me another stunt done in theater for stern.de.

I just love these “Men Will Be Men” series of ads done for Seagram’s Imperial Blue. Hilarious situations and nice acting by the characters.

As Government of India has banned the liquor and tobacco ads, the companies turn to such surrogate campaigns. Although I must agree that there is no relationship between the plots and product which is Cassettes and CDs in this case. But like sex, humor sells too.

Durex Performa : Extra Time

Objective: Durex Performa is a condom that contains a special lube, Benzocaine, inside the sheath which helps the man to control climax and prolong excitement. They needed to communicate this benefit in a simple and memorable way using media that the target, men, would understand instantly.

ldea: They decided to use the electronic boards held up at half time and the end of matches to signify how much extra time will be played. These boards were branded with the Durex Performa colours and logo. Of course, with their branding of the boards, the extra time took on a whole new meaning and relevance!
