“This is the only time a Steggles chicken is kept in a confined space. We have no cages, just big barns.”
Poultry brand Steggles has launched this new campaign aimed at dispelling the myth around the use of cages or hormones or steroids in the Australian chicken meat farming industry.
The campaign is based on a news poll study conducted in October 2010, where participants were asked if they think chickens raised for chicken meat are kept in cages, and 78 per cent answered yes.
Some might say; cage or big barns, you chicken better not come out of that egg. You are going to be killed anyway;)
