Brilliant idea for a guerilla/ambient campaign. This will certainly make people notice and may leave a smile on their face. Any medium which can do that is a winner.
The ad begins with Shahrukh trying to sell different packages offered by his comapny. He manages to do overacting in those 10-20 seconds and irritates you like hell. And then the other Shahrukh tells about the Airtel’s simplest plan which thankfully ends the ad and the little torture. You will feel like scratching your head and hitting someone whenever you see the ad. I wonder how this was approved from Airtel side.
Uncle Ben to Peter Parker in Spider-Man : “With great power comes great responsibility”. Are the bollywood and cricket stars listening ? I am sure not many. There is no harm in doing endorsements but you should atleast choose the right one and even contribute with constructive feedback once you are associated with a brand. The quality of advertisements featuring celebrities is going down the hill everyday. Aamir Khan seems to be the only star who is maintaining a standard. I wonder whether its worth spending such huge money on celebrities for endorsements. Atleast Bajaj doesn’t believe in it and they are doing great without the big celebrities. Whats your take ?
This Indian TV commercial for Reliance Mobile has everything; cricket, kids and no doubt the Oh-that’s-so cuteeee touch. But the real masala comes from the typical amchi mumbaiya tapori ishtyle and the impeccable timing of the words used. While Reliance communication is trying to sell ball-by-ball update feature of its latest cricket dhanadhan pack with the ad, no doubt, its a pack of ‘solid sixers‘.

Wow!! Never thought anyone can think a concept like this for a recycle boutique. This was my thought till I came across this piece of work for Axe which seems to be original.

Brilliant work. Everytime you will see this ad you can’t help but admire it.

Guerilla marketing is more about matching wits than matching budgets and this demands genuine creativity to be effective. In this campaign a sticker is pasted on the cars and bikes telling the owners to upgrade job and get themseleves a better car. I hope they take care not to put this sticker on Bentley of Mukesh Ambani. Nice work.
