McDonald’s Fries : Fry Lights

Best Fries on the Planet campaign is a multi-tiered, non-traditional consumer engagement plan designed to embrace and leverage a truly beloved and revered icon: McDonald’s Fries—a product that symbolises the best of quality in the industry and builds both the McDonald’s brand and its business (96% of fry sales don’t leave McDonald’s alone). From now until Dec. 8, 2011, the sky will be lit up by “Fry Lights” on Clark and Ontario streets to lead you to the golden arches, and will be viewable from up to three miles away.

Agency: Leo Burnett, USA

Life at Mother London

UK advertising agency Mother London has brought in renowned war artist Matthew Cook to produce a set of illustrations depicting life inside the agency. Between 14th – 18th November Mother London’s Twitter feed will provide links to over 20 images created by Matthew Cook, hosted on a separate blog above-the-lines.tumblr.com. An exhibition of the work will be shown at Downstairs at Mother in the New Year.

Cook, who’s had his artworks of the current conflict in Afghanistan exhibited in both the Imperial War Museum and National Army Museum, spent a week at Mother creating a series of illustrations that show every part of agency life from lunchtime to morning meetings to making coffee. Do visit Matthew Cooks Website to see some awesome work.

John Lewis : The Long Wait

November 16, 2011 – 10:58 am by Bibhuti | No Comments »

“For gifts you can’t wait to give.”

I am not a big fan of always using kids in ads for the cuteness factor. But, I just love this beautiful new Christmas campaign for John Lewis. In 90s they are telling a sweet story and selling the product as well. Great job.
