Maes Beer : A Barrel For Every Maes

Maes is Belgium’s second most popular beer but also Belgium’s 3rd most common surname. So since there is no joy in being second Maes beer gave a free barrel of Maes to all the people with the name Maes. They just had to sign up on Facebook, choose a pub and share the date – and their beer – with all of their friends. The campaign was created by TBWA and broke quite some records. The Facebook fanpage made it into the 6% most active pages worldwide, 1 out 20 Belgians visited the website and the amount of fans tripled in 1 day.

Carlsberg : Friends Test

“Standing up for a friend. That calls for a Carlsberg.”

Belgian agency Duval Guillaume and Carlsberg did this stunt to do loyalty test for best friends. To participate in the project were selected several young people placed in a very believable scenery gaming den with all related services as restaurants, snack bars, brothels, etc. They called their best friends in the middle of the night saying they lost in poker game and are in an urgent need to bring 300 Euro, otherwise it will be bad. The friends who made it at the end got applause and Carlsberg.

Frooti : Magic

Frooti has released this new TV commercial conceived by Creativeland. The film, shot after a game practice, intercuts between Shahrukh gulping Frooti and a bunch of little soccer players yearning for the mango drink. The little kids drool uncontrollably and their thirst for the bottle of Frooti seems unabashed. When Shahrukh is done with his Frooti and looks around, he is taken aback to see the players (who were actually adults) staring at him in child-like innocence. He says ‘what?’ and breaks them out of the spell. The embarrassed players smile sheepishly and get back to what they were doing. And, in the background two little players, who saw the whole thing unfold, break into laughter. The ad is sure to appeal to the fun-loving, excitable youth with its promise of ‘fresh n juicy mangoes’.
