“No other alternative.”
RADIO 1 is the first independent privately owned radio station broadcasting in the Czech Republic. During many years of existence RADIO 1 has become an important cultural phenomenon. By not being afraid of being different and by exposing a whole new generation of artists (painters, authors, musicians etc.). Especially today it is the only listenable radio for many of the Czechs.

16 June 1976 marks the day South African school children from Soweto stood up in protest against the Bantu education act. Due to this event, June 16th is now celebrated as South Africa’s youth day, which commemorates the bravery and the death of many South African children including Hector Pieterson. The raised fist, to this day has been a symbol of Power “Amandla.”

This advertisement made the phrase “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” look incomplete as it’s missing “The Inspiring“. An inspiring 60 seconds which takes you down to memory lane, makes you chuckle, makes life look beautiful and inspires you to discover again.
This television commercial shows the joy, apprehension and excitement of different people while doing things for the first time: A man flipping though old LPs and picking one up in disbelief, A kid trying to find the gift in the cereal box, a young couple undressing, teenagers beginning their first dance, a kid joining the player to stadium, a young man looking at the guitar of his dreams through a storefront window, a boy and girl engaging in their first kiss, a boy climbing a wall to see his first stadium game. Then the message appears, “When was the last time you discovered something new? Discover music again. Discover again,” and transitions to the SIRIUS Satellite Radio offering and logo.

This is an old advertisement of Nile FM 104.2 radio station broadcasted in Egypt. I am not a radio person and not sure what they play specially on ladies night or gentlemen’s night, but the visuals just rock. Probably second best use of records.
