Sprite : Seedhi Baat

The is probably the cutest ads of recent times in more than one ways. It starts with the guy saying to his girlfriend that he has to leave. When the girl puts on a pout and says “Whats the hurry”, he replies (with a straight face) he has to meet another girl. His girl friend bids good bye thinking it is just a joke to get away.

He indeed meets another girl(who also happens to be another girlfriend of his). All through, he sits enjoying his Sprite with a smile. When asked why he was late, he says that he was with another girlfriend, and gets away with it with this girl too.

The ad enters without much funfare. It is the attitude of the guy that is to be highlighted. He just is open in what he is going to do or has done, always with a smile in his face. It represents the spirit of sprite which is about quenching thirst and nothing else. It is about just being yourself and being true about your actions which is the theme that sprite wants to project about itself.
