Max Newyork Life : Pension Plans

April 23rd, 2008 by Shiva | Email This

One of the well-thought out ads in the recent past. Most insurance-related ads from my viewpoint have never hit the deck or laid the punch. But all that perception changes when once sees ‘Max Newyork Life - Pension Plans’ advertisement.

The ad traces the journey of man from his childhood through marriage, kids and retirement. As a child, he is cautioned not to jump into the river as a measure of discipline. The kid resigns to the caution, sacrifices his desire to play in the waters. Again when the person has a tiff with his boss, he flares up, raises to walk off, but is then cautioned by the image of his pregnant wife. There he is compelled to control his emotions. Similarly, he is cautioned by the image of his growing kids when he wishes to buy a new mercedes benz car. But then when he retires, he breaks free and jumps into the river to enjoy. The caption says “you have made enough sacrifices, compromises, but you dont need to compromise anymore”.

This truly drives the essence and importance of pension plan. It conveys how insurance planning with pension benefits drives home the safety factor that you need not compromise on quality of living for want of money or financial freedom. I just love the ad in a wholesome manner. I wish people make more sensible ads like this.
