IPL : Cricket Ka Karmayudh

Now that the IPL bidding war is over and the cloud of money is exhausted on players, it’s time for promoting the event. The promos of DLF India Premier League have started to come on TV and the slogan is “Cricket Ka Karmayudh“. The USP of this campaign is the rustic and free flowing music. Does anyone know the singer and music director ?

    The all new IPL’s ad looks too cheap…and may not go well with audience!!! Also they need to change their tag line “Cricket ka karmayudh”.

    They are trying to say that this is no competition between the countries but kind of personal skills. If you listen to lyrics, it says that this is no Deshyudh or Dharmayudh but Karmayudh. There is not much creativity in this ad if you compare with the ICL Chennai ad specially, but I like the song. It’s just the starting campaign for IPL and many are in pipeline.

    Guys nothing is there in the pipelines. This campaign will be there till the first round of the match. Thereafter ads for 10 Sec will be running in most channels.The IPL has already got the publicity.Road shows are expected to happen soon in metros after 15th.

    I read in an article that there are plans for three more campaigns including six films with varied themes. They will be released in the next few weeks.

    No matter what you guys have to say, this ad is superb and one of the finest i’ve come across lately. The lyrics and special effects along with the music pumps up just about any cricket fan…

    Cannot wait for the Karmayudh to begin!!!

    The ad is simply superb along with the effects and sound dubbing , makes a feast of a 10 sec.
    No idea where IPL will land into , but a gr8 job done till now ..

    tez = fast
    tej = prakash, light
